/As LongShine ’s first statelevel power project implemented overseas, the Nepal Electricity Authority Revenue Management System (NEARMS) has officially gone live, marking a substantial breakthrough in the company’s strategic expansion in the South Asian market.
The new system digitizes and automates the entire power marketing process, covering electricity billing, invoice generation, payment collection, and fault dispatching. Paperbased approvals have been significantly reduced, manual intervention risks lowered, bill collection rates notably improved, and overall operational efficiency and service quality have been comprehensively upgraded. Ordinary citizens can now complete payments, inquiries, and repair requests anytime and anywhere via mobile phones, eliminating the inconvenience of queuing. As the“centralbrain”of Nepal’s power data, NEARMS supports grid planning, dispatch optimization, and load forecasting through realtime collection and analysis of nationwide electricity consumption data, laying a solid foundation for the comprehensive digital and intelligent development of the power sector. This project validates LongShine Tech’s fullstack delivery capability in overseas power digitalization and accumulates valuable experience for its global market expansion. The countless lights at the southern foot of the Himalayas shine even brighter, thanks to smart power.
